Registry of Spoken Foreign Language Court Interpreters
The Registry of Spoken Foreign Language Court Interpreters contains the names and contact information for Spanish court interpreters who are registered and contracted with NCAOC to provide interpreting services in the North Carolina state courts. The Registry is used by local Language Access Coordinators to efficiently schedule court interpreter coverage for court proceedings in their counties. The contract interpreters on the Registry are also available for private hire for the out of court interpreting needs of privately retained counsel and outside agencies.
All state and federally certified court interpreters who have either become certified in North Carolina or have applied for reciprocity in North Carolina are listed on the Federally Certified and North Carolina State Certified Spoken Foreign Language Court Interpreters. This directory is for information only and is not intended to be used for local court scheduling of contract court interpreters.
To obtain a current list of interpreters for individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing, please refer to the appropriate regional Sign Language Interpreter/Transliterator Directory posted by the Division of Services for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing.
