The goal of the Voluntary Mentoring Program is to provide every beginning lawyer in the local county, who is newly admitted to the State Bar of North Carolina, with meaningful access to an experienced lawyer, who is equipped to assist the beginning lawyer with acquiring practical skills and understanding the ethical and professional values expected of lawyers practicing in North Carolina and the local county.
