The North Carolina Court of Appeals has named Jonathan Harris as its general counsel effective October 7.

Only parties and attorneys directly involved in the cases being argued will be allowed to enter the building to attend the arguments.

The Court of Appeals will resume its regular schedule of oral arguments in person when the fall session begins in August.

Clerk Soar succeeds Daniel Horne, who is retiring after over 30 years of service at the Court and who served as clerk of court since 2015.
