This is a free, remote learning experience for law students interested in North Carolina appellate practice.

The Commission initiates proceedings against judges for the purpose of making disciplinary recommendations to the Supreme Court.

The late North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Maurice Braswell shared experiences as a B-17 tail gunner and POW in World War II.

Prior restrictions on public attendance at in-person oral arguments will be lifted. The Court will continue to livestream arguments online.

The Appellate Mediation Project was established in 2002.  

The Court’s order was adopted on October 13, 2021, and is applicable to cases that are appealed on or after January 1, 2022.
