Governor Roy Cooper has appointed a district court judge in District 11.

• Jason H. Coats as district court judge in Judicial District 11 (Harnett, Johnston and Lee counties). Coats of Four Oaks will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Robert W. Bryant. Since 2004, Coats had been a partner attorney practicing civil, criminal and corporate law
