Mecklenburg County Clerk of Superior Court’s Office will immediately implement modifications to its hours of operations and availability.

The order states that documents due to be filed from March 16 to June 1 will be deemed timely filed if received on June 1, 2020.

Beginning Wednesday, April 8, the New Hanover County Clerk of Courts Office will be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Additional modifications to Mecklenburg County superior court and district court proceedings will go into effect on Monday, March 30, 2020.

Effective March 24, the clerk's office will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Effective March 20, clerks counters in Wake County Justice Center and Wake County Courthouse are staffed 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Documents due to be filed from March 16 to April 17 will be deemed timely if received before close of business on April 17.

The panel will hear evidence relevant to a 2002 murder case in Forsyth County.
