N.C. Court of Appeals judges Ann Marie Calabria and Richard A. Elmore will retire, effective December 31.

This event is being held to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 1868 Constitution and the Supreme Court’s bicentennial anniversary.

Judge Zachary will serve on the Board of Governors, which acts as the advisory body to the program.

The Judicial Branch joined McDowell County officials and community in celebration of the county’s 175th anniversary.

The McDowell County Bar Association and the McDowell County community are honoring five members of North Carolina’s appellate courts.

Jaye Bingham-Hinch succeeds Leslie Davis who held the position since 1989 and is retiring in August.  

Leslie Davis, who has been the only Director of Staff Counsel and who has served the Court of Appeals since 1983, is retiring.
