- Tune in Friday at 7:00 p.m. to Spectrum News’ Capital Tonight program with host Tim Boyum for special interviews with Chief Justice Cheri Beasley and former Associate Justice Willis Whichard. The program will honor the Supreme Court’s bicentennial this year by taking viewers behind the scenes of the North Carolina Museum of History’s newest special exhibit entitled, Law and Justice: The Supreme Court of North Carolina, 1819–2019. The program will air on Friday, November 29, at 7:00 p.m. and repeat at 12:00 a.m.
- Make plans to visit the Supreme Court’s special exhibit, to run through at least May 2020.
- Watch Exploring North Carolina with Tom Earnhardt on WUNC-TV for an hour-long documentary entitled The North Carolina Supreme Court at 200. The documentary is viewable online and airing on UNC-TV throughout 2019. Three years in the making, the documentary shows how the Supreme Court has changed over the years to serve the people of North Carolina.
