Judge Valerie Zachary Appointed to the North Carolina Governor's School Board of Governors
Judge Zachary will serve on the Board of Governors, which acts as the advisory body to the program.

The North Carolina Court of Appeals is pleased to announce the appointment of Judge Valerie Zachary to the North Carolina Governor’s School Board of Governors. Judge Zachary, who has served on the Court of Appeals since 2015, was appointed to the Board of Governors by the State Board of Education.
The Governor’s School is the oldest summer residency program for gifted high school students in the nation. The five and one-half week program is located on two campuses: Salem College in Winston-Salem, and Meredith College in Raleigh.
Judge Zachary will serve on the Board of Governors, which acts as the advisory body to the program.
