On December 3, newly elected Carteret County Clerk of Superior Court, Ken Raper, initiated a transition in the Clerk’s Office Estates Division. Personnel changes have occurred as a result of this transition and may cause delays for some.
“There is period of required training for new personnel to become efficient in estate processing,” said Clerk Raper. “During this transition, I ask the residents of Carteret County to remain patient as the office becomes better prepared to assist them.” Clerk Raper has instructed the new estates office clerks to exercise great patience and compassion for the public during this transition as they assist in completing and finalizing the estate process.
We are working to make this transition period as short and seamless as possible.
