Congratulations to Guilford County Public Defender Fred Lind, who was honored with the prestigious Caswell Award in recognition and appreciation for 45 or more years of dedicated, extended service to the State of North Carolina. The ceremony was held Tuesday, April 2, at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh and honored 21 state employees across state agencies and branches.
The Richard Caswell Award Program is named after North Carolina's first governor, Richard Caswell, in 1776 – 1780 and 1784 – 1787, and who also served as clerk of court in Orange County, state controller, and state senator. The award program was established in 1998 and is administered by the N.C. Office of State Human Resource (OSHR).
Congratulations and thank you for your service!
