Governor McCrory Proclaims October Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Governor Pat McCrory has proclaimed October 2014 as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month" in North Carolina.

Governor Pat McCrory has proclaimed October 2014 as "Domestic Violence Awareness Month" in North Carolina, urging citizens to reach out and offer safety and support to friends and family - or anyone - they believe to be in danger of abuse. All told, state-funded programs serve nearly 60,000 victims annually.
